  4. Lets use the poll, Sorry D-rock.

  5. I hope everyone gets a chance to hit the polls on the right -------->
You have to sign in to the blog to vote. The hot stamp poll lets you pick your four favorites then hit vote and all four are entered. You can't change your vote, and it only lets you vote once.
    Cool eh?!

  6. Hey, I accidentally voted for the Mako instead of the Roc. So can we remember that for the final tally? Thx!

  7. brody's....when are you headed back down to norcal? or are you already there? We should meet up and play some rounds of d golf if you haven't headed south! I'm leaving for fort bragg in a couple weeks... (uncle travelin' matt)

  8. Hey Erin, what about choice of plastics?

  9. I think it would make the poll too broad to have 3-4 plastics options per disc. Once the 4 disc models are chosen we can decide on plastics. How's that sound to everyone?
Also certain discs are no brainers, like dx aviar, champ FB, etc.

  11. MFCers,
Hey Erin, on the amount the ace pot should be capped shouldn't there be a $250 selection. I recall at the Super Bowl that most of the votes were for $250??

  12. Opps, I take that back...most of the votes were for $200 and there was only 1 vote for $250 (my bad). I guess we can leave off $250.

  13. I would also like to be able to vote for $250. And withdraw my vote for $200. $250 is just sweeter, in my opinion. Closer to what we've been playing for the last few months, first of all, yet low enough to leave a nice ace-pot starter.

  14. I can't change the polls without erasing the votes. Do we REALLY need another choice? It seems like plenty to me. If it's going to be a ton of retractions and over-corrections than maybe I should get rid of the polls. I mean there can't be voting on how to vote, otherwise we would never get anywhere. 2 cents

  15. No, I suppose we don't need another choice. But it would have been good to have the same choices on the poll that we had when we first began to vote on this issue. In this case, my choice was deemed unnecessary to vote on, which, if you were in my position, you wouldn't like.

Also, given that we have about ten voters, I think we can handle a retraction or two, don't you?

  16. Also, in defense of Firebirds... I have several. Jim has one. Matt has one. Ryan has one. David has one. Roy has one. Devan has one. Those are the fo-sho's, the IThinkSo's are Vince, Bryan, Nate. Even without the maybes I challenge you to name a disc more commonly owned.

  17. David has one? I thought he was Banshee boy...

  18. Have one? That Davey FB was the winner of the first ace pool ace ever...

  19. Wait, does a dx Firebird really count as a Firebird? :-)

  20. Bro Hemulous and Helldridge,
I would say The Destroyer is more commonly used than the Firebird (at least for drivers). Also, it appears that people really like Aviar Putters (I use an Aviar Putter) and Rocks (for midrange). Unfortunately, the pond at Willits swallowed my dx Firebird a couple months ago but yeah that was the disc that used for my tremondous ace on Hole 1 (of all holes). Cheers.

  22. Ok,
Let's not vote to vote on the voting.
Firebirds are the only choice for Mendo in the wind.
Aviars and Rocs are the greatest putting/midranging combo in the world.
    Banshees are just weird.
    Eagles are under-rated.
Destroyers are for players too chicken to throw a Boss.

  23. Why don't you take your F-ing Eagle and fly away...the Banshee and her secret powers have won me numerous tournaments and a practice basket. Take your 3 cents and unleavened bread and shove it up your pie hole!
P.S. Has cute little Fro Montana been born yet?

  24. Rye B you talking smack to me? My destroyer will out fly your boss! What do you think about that? Its a challenge! You heard it here first.
Rye vs. Bry Destroyer vs. Boss. Just kidding, but I am no chicken.

  25. I love all those who use Bernoulli's principle of lift for fun. Physics can lead to all kinds of crazy comments but the Boss is the fastest longest sucka' out there. Long live Sir Issac Newton and his goofy theories. Do people believe that Newton was wrong like Darwin? I don't know if physics contradicts the Bible but not even Jesus could throw a Destroyer farther than my Boss. If this were a post and not a comment I would now proceed to insult the D.D.S. but I wouldn't want to test his mettle.
    Oh yeah. Sarah's water broke.

  27. We will have to see about your "theories". And I'll do it with out all that silly X-step stuff.
Ok maybe not, but the Boss is over rated any way. And yes it is because I cant throw it. I am w/ Rick understable= distance.

Best wishes Rye Bread and family.
