Erin Ain't Errin'

In a thrilling playoff, Erin pulled out the victory on Sunday by edging out AJ on the second playoff hole. AJ's drive at the top of the world missed the uprights by a scant three inches, and after both players bogied, Erin made AJ pay by knocking down a 40-foot putt on the next playoff hole, hole 8, for the win! Both players made it into the playoff by shooting a strong 4 under their handi in windy but shockingly sun-drenched conditions. It was Erin's first victory in a number of months, but proved that under the right conditions, even a 7-under handicapper can win. Great 11 down under adverse conditions, Erin!

By the way, E, AJ asked me if the C course was up on the blog. I believe you said it was, but it doesn't look to be listed with the A and B course maps?

  1. Oh, and as per our unanimous vote on Sunday, can we change the initials at the top of this page?

  2. Nice win Erin! Did you use putters or back to the Firebird? Also, I propose a Sunday Tournament in Booneville. Who is in? Who can play and who can't. I can talk to Jeremy, GMoney, and Vincenzo and ask if they can play. What about a start time at 4pm. I talked to Parky and he is in. Lets talk!

  3. I spoke with HemHaw, Jeremy, and GMoney and they are all in for a Booneville round on Sunday...tee off at 4pm. Who else is in or out? Rye Bread? Jimmerson?

  4. Darn, I found out I have an obligation 2 Pm on Sunday. So I can't play anything. Why don't people check with the MCFC before they schedule anything? Geez!
In other news, David "heatstroke" Stein held off Matthew Sweatsalot in a heated bagtag round of disc in boonville. After a quick two stroke lead by Sweats, a redfaced David chipped away with his usual blend of flydye banshee daggers and jump putts. A last minute bird by sweaty almost got him back in, but Beerstein sealed a one stroke win with a pressure laden 15 foot par save on 18.
My highlight was unleashing my new 2 finger "daisycutter" flick on hole 11 and throwing it over the tree, over the basket, over the tee for 12, over the road, over the fence, over the road on the other side of the fence, and into the vineyard. A truly impressive shot, which ended up no where near the basket, was probably OB and that ended up in a bogey. But shit I crushed it.

    Still worth it though.

Davey is really piling up the Boontown rounds! No excuses for not taking the adv. group now...

If someone can charter me a round-trip from Santa Fe to Little River and back on Sunday, I'm in!
